Driver (Code 8) job vacancy in Maitland, Cape Town.
Do you have a valid Code 8 Driver”s License? We have an opportunity available for your excellent track record and clear criminal record.
The position, based in Maitland is for an experienced driver with excellent communication skills to deal with clients and suppliers, managing stock take, collections, deliveries and general duties.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Min 3 years experience in similar role
- Valid code 8 drivers’ licence
- Communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Solid work track record, cannot be a job hopper
- Good timekeeping essential
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain good vehicle standards by keeping vehicle neat and tidy always
- Ensuring timeously delivery of goods
- Communicating with clients with deliveries
- Picking and packing of stock
- Double check and review orders given for deliveries
- Collections and matching of purchase orders
- General Adhoc duties
- Time Keeping and maintaining schedules
