Below we have some commonly asked Employer FAQ about job posting and resume search on the CompuJobs job portal. Our Employer FAQ section will grow as we add more content that we feel will help answer some of the most common questions we receive from employers and recruiters.

Yes, an account is needed to post jobs. We verify all new employer accounts to ensure that the quality and integrity of the site is upheld.

Yes, as long as you are a registered business, employment agency or verified independent recruiter. All new employer accounts are verified to maintain the integrity of the website and to protect our registered job seekers privacy.

CompuJobs is by far the most affordable option to post your jobs in South Africa. A standard job listing costs only R150. This is reduced further when purchasing more than one at a time.

We also offer job posting and recruiter package options that allow for unlimited job posting for 1 month or 1 year.

Jobs are checked and approved prior to being published. This should not take more than half an hour during business hours.

All jobs are listed for 30 days, unless you mark them as filled before that.

Yes, CompuJobs offers an excellent job posting / editing service with all of our Job Posting and Recruiter Packages.

As part of these services, recruiters can send us their new job specs (or a link to your jobs) and we will get them posted for you and keep them updated. We will post all new jobs as well as update existing job ads weekly to keep your job ads visible. This service is included in our package deals and does not cost extra.

Let us do the work and free up your valuable time so you can concentrate on the actual recruitment process.

Go to your Employer Dashboard and click on Manage Jobs. Here you will see all your active job listings. If a position has been filled then just click on “Mark Filled” and applicants will no longer be able to apply to that position.

Our resume search costs R650 for 1 month or R6 500 for 1 year. These are stand-alone services but we also offer the CV search functionality as part of our Recruiter and Agency Packages which can be seen on our Employer Pricing page.

We offer various secure online payment options that are processed via PayFast (www.payfast.co.za). This includes credit card payments and EFT payments via any South African bank.

Alternately you can opt for a direct bank transfer (banking details are supplied during checkout for this method).

If you require an invoice prior to payment then simply send us a message telling us the service you are interested in and we will generate an invoice and send this to you by email.

CompuJobs will, from time to time, offer a promotional discount on our job posting services. If you receive a discount code, then you can use this when purchasing a new service. Just enter the coupon code you received during checkout to apply the discount or fixed promotional offer.

If you have lost or forgotten your password then you can go to Lost Password to set a new password. Just enter the email address that you used to register the account.
