Senior Java Developer – South Africa (Remote)
A remote Senior Java Developer position is currently available in South Africa.
Since 2002, XTM International has been providing an innovative and cost-effective translation management system that is used by globally known companies.
Due to the growth of our teams, right now you have the opportunity to join us as a Senior Java Developer.
You will be in charge of developing modules of our system and creating new functionalities.

Job Description:
- Designing and developing advanced software supporting the work of translators
- Actively seeking new solutions to optimise system operation
- Providing support to less experienced team members
- Participating in problem analysis and implementing effective solutions
- Cooperation within a team of several people (back-end & front-end) managed by a Project
manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java programming (using Spring framework)
- Knowledge of WebServices
- Knowledge of SQL and issues related to relational databases (Hibernate, HQL)
- Ability to produce high quality code and communicate well both inside and outside the team
- Familiarity with version control system (Git)
- Familiarity with Jira
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of NoSQL database
- Experience with WebSockets
