Senior Destination Specialist job vacancy in Cape Town.

Leading Destination Management Company is seeking Intermediate to Senior Destination Specialists to successfully quote profitable tour products for existing as well as new clients. This position is based in Cape Town.

Experience required:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)
• Min of 4 years of Destination Management Company Experience
• Tour plan experience
• Foreign language speaking advantageous

Duties include:

• Secure business and effectively cost products
• Quote and design successful creative itineraries and proposals
• Capture and confirm bookings in Tourplan
• Negotiate with suppliers for better rates, cancellation policies
• Successfully run groups, tour series, and FIT booking
• Participate in supplier training and workshops
• Reduce the transaction turnaround time
• Demonstrate good communication skills and customer care
• Stay current on events and changes of suppliers and products.
• Travel on educational and familiarization trips
• Handling the 24 hour emergency phone
