Commercial Underwriter – Johannesburg.
Commercial Underwriter with minimum 3 years’ Short Term Commercial Underwriting experience, preferably within a Broker environment, required to start asap with this national Financial Service Provider.
Positions available in Cape Town and Bedfordview.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Insurance related qualification – FAIS & RE essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a short term broker environment
- Minimum 3 years’ Commercial Underwriting exp essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Underwriting of new and existing policies,
- Process new business
- Renewals
- Endorsements
- Re-broking
- Policy administration
- Client liaison and communication
- Cancellations
- Business retention
- Raise premiums
- Provide assistance to Account Executives to enable them to render excellent service
- Monitor outstanding premiums
