Upmarket Supervisor Housekeeper job vacancy in Pretoria.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate and/or a related Hospitality Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Must have a South African ID.
• Own accommodation close to Waterkloof Ridge in Pretoria and be able to travel out of town to other accommodation.
• At times be flexible to be able to work holidays, weekends, and certain nights.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Hospitality Industry and/or previous Housekeeping Management etc.
• Administration and Computer Skills on Word, Outlook and Excel and be able to draw up spreadsheets.
• Motivate and to lead a team and cope under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, innovative to detail, well-presented ,courteous, positive attitude, and always have a professional demeanor.
• Be reliable and dedication to improve when necessary and have adaptability and flexibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising and controlling the daily cleaning in accordance with the standards of procedures and assist when necessary.
• Manage, co-ordinate and maintain the housekeeping staff-rosters, health standards, laundry, training and emergency procedures, attendance, and appearance etc.
• Stock taking of storerooms for linen, uniforms, amenities, and groceries.
• Attend to all guests needs efficiently with satisfaction and can deal with distinguished guests.
• Check all house repairs and maintenance and report to owners.
• To be able to solve problems and find solutions.
• Do grocery shopping, assist with functions, and cook, when necessary,
• Perform regular inspections and present monthly Spreadsheet to owners.
