Camera Surveillance Officer job vacancy in Rustenburg.
The purpose of the Camera Surveillance Officer is to monitor CCTV operational processes and all cameras in the control room.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products is essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- 2-3 Years work related experience in the control room and CCTV Camera operations
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV operational processes.
- Monitor all cameras in Control Room
- Monitor and observe staff movement and procedural compliance.
- To ensure the safety and security of people and property within the company areas and other facilities via surveillance of the CCTV network.
- To also monitoring and operating the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV Control Room.
- Investigate incidents via camera footage inclusive of footage backup.
- Incident reporting and recording.
- Start, middle and end of day reporting.
- To be Pro-active in all areas of the business, in particular, safety of the staff and the properties of the company.
- To perform any other ad hoc duties that may be required by management from time to time.
- Ensure all equipment/ cameras in working order.
