Spa Therapist job vacancy in Hout Bay, Cape Town.

We are looking for two full-time Spa Therapists to join our client’s team in Hout Bay as soon as possible.

The ideal candidates will have qualification/s in traditional massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage, and in addition, any other massage/body and beauty treatment modalities such as facials.

We are looking for candidates who are also interested in wellness and holistic health and healing.

Candidates must be open to learning new techniques and be confident in learning and facilitating uniquely designed rituals.

Some experience working in a Spa environment will be advantageous. Additional ongoing support in spa operations, philosophy, and wellness will also be providing.

Application requirements:

• Qualified Massage and Beauty Therapist (hold relevant qualifications)
• Spa experience (1-2 years minimum)
• Live in Hout Bay or near to – ideally with your own transport
• Well presented.
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player
• Passionate about wellness, wellbeing and taking a holistic approach to taking care of themselves and treating clients.
• Additional healing skills / modalities / techniques advantageous.
• Understanding of mindfulness / yoga also highly advantageous

Duties will include:

• Performing all treatments offered at the Spa to a consistently high standard.
• Working with Wellness Director to ensure the smooth running of the Spa overall.
• Management of Spa
• Assisting with retreats and group bookings outside of treatment duties
• Attending to guests wanting to book treatments and use the other spa facilities.
• General housekeeping/cleaning of the spa to a consistently high standard
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when required and according to the needs of the business.

Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Occasionally there might be overtime required
