In this role, you will design and execute business development strategies, nurture a high value pipeline, and spearhead commercial negotiations to maximize profitability.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Degree / Diploma
• A minimum of 6+ years of proven business development success within automotive / component, alongside at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Absolute integrity, an impeccable work ethic, and a polished presence is essential. Individual must be a highly agile, strategic problem-solver who can pivot quickly under pressure
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Valid South African Driver’s License and willingness to travel
• Clear criminal record (essential for international corporate travel clearance and client-site access)

Key Performance Areas:

• Architect and implement robust, long-term sales and market penetration strategies
• Cultivate and maintain high level stakeholder relationships and secure contracts
• Manage a dynamic pipeline while identifying emerging market opportunities
• Lead, mentor, and optimize sales team performance to hit commercial milestones
• Visit customers nationally and internationally
• Manage pricing within approved margins
• Issue resolution
