Stock Controller – Centurion

A Stock Controller position is available in Hennopspark, Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.

Salary: R10 000 – R12 000 (Negotiable, depending on experience)

A well-established and reputable company in the wholesale / retail packaging industry is seeking to appoint a Stock Controller at their Branch located in Hennopspark, Centurion.

Seeking a candidate that has experience in the wholesale / packaging / plastics / retail industry.

Job Purpose:

The Stock Controller is responsible for the effective administration of all processes and procedures related to the stock control function at the Branch as well as floor assistants.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of 2-4 years applicable experience in the stock controlling environment, preferably in the retail sector.
• Computer literate – Basic Windows Applications.
• Knowledge and experience of Pastel Evolution will be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Able to work with large volumes
• Time management and organisation skills are essential.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Must be able to multitask and function under pressure.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving stock.
• Dispatching stock.
• Capturing of Goods Received Vouchers.
• Manage printing of labels (stock / prices).
• Barcode corrections.
• Return to supplier procedures concerning damaged stock.
• Stock takes and stock adjustment processes.
• Stock management operations in line with Stock Inventory Control
