Software Support Consultant – Cape Town
A Software Support Consultant is required in Cape Town, to provide product support and assistance for all the software solutions offered and hosted. You will be responsible for the hosting environment’s configuration, maintenance and monitoring. 5+ Years’ experience in a Software Support role with a current MCSE certification. Experience in IIS, SQL Servers, Linux, PostgreSQL, Qlikview & Qlik Sense is required.
Responsibilities:
- Support hosting environment, hosted software and associated ICT infrastructure
- Support and monitor integration solutions
- Deliver end-user support
- Adhere to Support Centre SLA’s
- Participate and adhere to the Support Centre’s business processes
- Troubleshoot and solve incidents
- Manage and maintain hosted demo environment
- Participate in monthly Pragma ICT Maintenance Slot activities
Requirements:
- IT related degree or diploma is preferable
- 5 years professional experience in a related role, e.g. software support role (user support, troubleshooting, monitoring, etc.)
- Pro-active troubleshooting & problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- IIS experience
- Current Microsoft MCSE Certification
- SQL Server experience
- Linux experience beneficial
- PostgreSQL experience will be beneficial
- QlikView & Qlik Sense experience will be beneficial
