The South African office is looking for a commercially driven Sales Representative to support the growth of its Grain and Chemical Solutions divisions. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with commodity, agricultural, chemical, industrial materials, or related industry experience to build international business relationships and identify opportunities across dynamic global markets.

Location: Fourways, Johannesburg.

Salary: R45 000 – R50 000 CTC (Based on Relevant Experience).

Working Hours: 06:30am – 15:30pm, aligned with the company’s Korea Head Office.

About the Role:

As a Sales Representative – Grain / Chemical Solutions, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing commercial relationships across the grain and chemical value chains.

You will work across products including soybean, maize, wheat, rice, plastic resin, fertiliser, synthetic rubber and related materials, engaging with domestic and international stakeholders and contributing to bulk trading transactions.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial instincts with analytical thinking, market awareness and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced international trading environment.

Experience Required:

• 3–5 years’ relevant experience in grain trading, agricultural commodities, chemical products, industrial materials, sales, business development or a related commercial environment.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, trading or commercial relationship management.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, supply chains and international trade dynamics.
• Experience engaging with domestic and/or international clients and stakeholders.
• Exposure to bulk trading, procurement, logistics or commodity transactions will be advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.
• Afrikaans proficiency is highly advantageous due to client and market engagement requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across grain and chemical markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Develop sales opportunities across agricultural and chemical value chains.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage bulk trading transactions.
• Monitor commodity prices, market movements, supply conditions and industry developments.
• Analyse market flows and identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
• Stay informed of relevant regulations, market trends and changes within the grain and chemical industries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial and sales strategies with broader business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and manage transactions with a high level of attention to detail.
• Contribute market insights to support informed business and trading decisions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for sustainable business growth and expansion.
