Retail Store Front of House – Johannesburg

A Retail Store Front of House position is available in Sandton City Mall, Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Salary: R8 000 per month

Working Hours: Retail working hours, plus every second weekend

This is a position you can grow from Front of House into a Sales position, and very quickly into a Sales Manager position if you have the right personality and if energy!

Job Purpose:

To provide a receptionist and administrative function in the store. Sources potential clients for sales staff and seeks out sales opportunities for sales staff whilst doing Administrative functions. Contributes to the atmosphere in the store by working diligently and professionally when carry out his/her duties.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Well-groomed and presented
• Good communication skills on the phone, face-to-face and electronically
• Computer literate and basic skills of Microsoft Suite Packages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hard working – must be ‘pushing from the back’ to help the sales staff and the store achieve their monthly sales targets
• Must be able to work retail hours – which includes weekends
• High energy and go-getter personality

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Sales:

• Sourcing potential clients for sales staff by searching/researching clients using tools such as Linkedin and the Company’s CRM system.
• Assisting sales staff by completing sales transactions as requested.
• Actively supporting sales staff to find and close business.

Manning of a Store:

• Manning of a store with a sales consultant, which entails ensuring that the store is open and trading at the specified mall hours.
• Providing a customer service experience which reflects the brand of the Company during face-to- face, telephonic and e-mail interactions.

Stock:

• Assisting with stock counts as per procedures and standards.
• Ensuring that stock and cash are safeguarded.
• Ensuring that merchandise is always attractively and accurately displayed in the store.

Administration and Compliance:

• Filing, general administration and assisting in store efficiency as required.
• Capturing information on the Company’s CRM system according to standards and procedures.
• Ensuring that transactions take place according to Company standards and procedures.
