A remote Website Project Co-Ordinator / Marketing Assistant position is available in South Africa.

Fully remote for applicants living in South Africa

R25 000 – R30 000 per month, negotiable

An IT Managed Services Provider in the UK is currently hiring a remote Website Project Co-Ordinator and Marketing Assistant to join their team in a fully remote capacity.

You will be responsible for posting social media content, email marketing and SEO management for clients.

You will also work hand in hand with clients during the design process of web development projects to relay client requirement to the development team, project manage deliverables and ensure quality control of content and that customers have a positive experience.

Ideally, you should have some design experience but you will not be heavily involved in the website design, you will act more as a intermediary between the client and the developers to ensure the site is at it’s best, before being passed to the client.

Note: This role is currently an Independent Contractor role, which means you will be required to submit an invoice to the client monthly on an agreed monthly rate. The company is in the process of establishing and entity in South Africa, once done there is a high possibility of this role being adjusted to a permanent position.

• SEO measurement tools like Semrush, Google Analytics etc.

Duties and Responsibilities – Remote Website Project Co-Ordinator:

Web development project co-ordination:

• Be the face of the development team with customers when they undertake a web development project with the company
• Liaise with the clients to understand their website requirements
• Project manage the web development projects and liaise with the developers to ensure all deadlines are met
• Have a good understanding of web development to translate customer requirements into project specifications and development team deliverables
• Quality control content, deliverables and ensure a positive customer experience

Marketing Assistant:

• Manage SEO for multiple clients
• Work hand in hand with clients to develop blog and article topics and set a schedule for deliverables
• Strong copywriting skills
• Experience working with online tools to measure SEO
• Run Google Ad campaigns
• Post content to Instagram and Facebook
• Manage Active Campaign email marketing
