A Radiology Practice Manager position is available in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng.

R70 000 – R90 000 CTC including benefits: Provident Fund, Medical Aid

Company Overview:

Our client, a well-established radiology practice, is seeking the assistance of a mature Radiology Practice Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all the administrative and business operations aspects of a private medical practice.

This includes Procurement, Facility management, Reporting and Governance. In addition, the Radiology Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness through implementing practice strategic initiatives that result in meeting both the profit targets of the practice and the delivery of a consistent positive patient experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Any relevant Diploma in the related field
• Familiarity with business principles and practices
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Practice Manager in the medical field (preferably in Radiology)
• Basic working knowledge of finance and accounting would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software would be an added advantage
• Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review performance and behaviors within the Practice to identify and resolve non-compliance with the Practice’s’ policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
• Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports. Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends that enhance the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the practice
• Manage preferred supplier agreements and commercial arrangements
• Ensure effective supplier management. Ensure monitoring and controlling of supplier invoices, cash book and payments.
• Manage the Practice’s facility to ensure Health and Safety requirements as well as provide a safe and pleasant environment for employees and patients.
• Manage patient queries and complaints and define and implement patient experience protocols.
• Define and implement a communications framework that ensure all practice employees and management are kept informed
• Communicate the actions needed to implement the Practice’s strategy and business plan within the team.
• Explain the relationship to the Practice’s mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals
• Handle staff queries and any general concerns brought in by HOD’s
