Project Manager job vacancy in Centurion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager will manage product development or product improvement projects.
• Project timeline, deliverables, and quality Project budget and product costs.
• Clear reporting of project status (Project Steering Committee)
• Actively represents the interests of the project to all stakeholders
• Represents the company interests on standards committees and working groups
• Sharing of knowledge in his/her team and with other company departments
• Works within the defined Project Management Offices processes
• Product responsible post Milestone 75 (Mass production milestone)

Key Tasks

• Planning and budgeting of projects.
• Manages the project execution phase, coordinates team activities.
• Project controlling (risk, progress, cost).
• Risk management, project change management.
• Project reporting to the Project Steering Committee.
• Involvement during the definition of new product ideas.
• Organizes product approvals (Optional, depends on the organization since some BLs channel all approvals through one Project Manager).
• Contribution to performance management and assessment of team members.

Requirements:

• Professional: Minimum of 10 years industrial experience, at least 5 years at senior engineer level.
• Experience working in international teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, probably combined with a post-graduate degree or diploma. IPMA level C or similar project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to understand and create technical documentation written in English
• Must be able to communicate in English within company internal technical meetings
