PR Communications Specialist – Sandton, Johannesburg.
Requirements:
- Previous experience on consumer & tech accounts is a must have
- PR or Communications qualification is a must have with a minimum 5 years working experience
- Must have experience in a PR agency with matching qualification, manage media and client relations.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role has many functions, however, this is the main purpose of the role:
- Building relationships with existing and new clients
- Building relationships with key media contacts
- Liaising with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
- Dealing with the media, speaking to journalists and other members of the press
- Providing innovative and creative ideas to clients
- Briefing clients and updating them on press campaigns
- Analysing PR coverage and providing written reports
