PR Account Manager Full Time Job

PR Account Manager required in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Can you handle demanding clients, moving deadlines, media drama, and a WhatsApp voice note that says “just make it sound amazing” with approximately zero panic?

We’re looking for a PR Account Manager who’s equal parts strategist, writer, relationship-builder, and professional plate-spinner.

This is for someone who knows that PR is not just about “getting coverage” – it’s about managing reputations, spotting opportunities, shaping narratives, and occasionally preventing chaos from putting on a blazer and joining the meeting.

Salary: R30 000 – R37 500 based on experience and qualifications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing client accounts like the capable, unflappable legend you are
• Building strong relationships with media, clients, and internal teams
• Turning ideas into campaigns, and campaigns into actual results
• Writing press releases, opinion pieces, messaging, and the occasional miracle
• Keeping clients informed, confident, and ideally off the ledge
• Making fast decisions, solving problems, and staying calm when everything is marked urgent

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in PR, communications, or account management
• Strong writing skills and solid media instincts
• Confidence, polish, and excellent people skills
• The ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing the plot
• A sharp eye for detail, a cool head, and a healthy sense of humour
