Logistics Coordinator – Centurion

A Logistics Coordinator position is available in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.

Salary: R18 000 – R20 000 depending on experience and qualifications

Our client, who specializes in the Defence Industry, are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Centurion.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics
• 4 to 5 years’ experience in similar Industry (Non-Negotiable)
• Own reliable transport
• Well presented
• Strong communication skills

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations;
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Manage logistics staff;
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual
  satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
