Junior Service Engineer position available in Paarl.

Our client is seeking a Service Engineer to join their Service department, at their Head Office in Paarl.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of various projects. Strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the following duties at the company’s Head Office in Paarl:

• Project planning & execution.
• Onsite: Maintenance and technical service management & equipment installations, commissioning and training.
• Preparing technical documentation, standard works procedures and detailed job instructions.
• Conducting project and site risk assessments and ensuring OHSA compliance.
• Basic mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
• Adhering to budgets, costs and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or above.
• 3-5 years’ practical experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal aptitude.
• Detail orientated.
• Experience in third-party and client relationship management.
• Project and team management skills.
• The individual must be functionally independent and accountable.
• Computer literacy: Google Suite, MS Suite, SolidWorks, MS Projects .
• Own transport required.
