Junior Internal IT Recruiter – Cape Town

A Junior Internal IT Recruiter / Sourcer position is available in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

A Talent Sourcer searches and identifies suitable candidates. To do this, they use various proactive recruiting strategies.

Sourcers look for both active and passive candidates.

Ultimately, the responsibility of the Junior Internal IT Recruiter / Sourcer is to ensure the company attracts and hires, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Qualifications / Experience

• 1 – 2 years IT recruitment experience
• Develop and maintain a network of candidates
• Experience with pre-screening of candidates
• Boolean sourcing experience very Beneficial
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases beneficial

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Must be able to work independently and perform under pressure

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager on all roles
• Attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes and refers them to the Talent Acquisition Manager for consideration.
• Proactively manage these jobs and handle the full recruitment
• Handling of all recruitment administration
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Assist with developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications
• Assist with prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job sites/social media sites
• Assisting with Reference checking of candidates
