Junior Draughtsman Full Time Job

Junior Draughtsman position available in Wellington.

A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join its team in Wellington.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update technical drawings using CAD software.
• Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Assist with the design and development of custom products.
• Liaise with production to ensure drawings are accurate and practical.
• Revise drawings based on design or production requirements.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Relevant Draughting qualification or CAD certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (SolidWorks experience will be advantageous).
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
