Clinical Psychologist required in Durbanville, Cape Town.

A very well-established practice is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join their team in either Durbanville, Cape Town or Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, depending on which location might suit you best.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and professionally registered Clinical Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Completed community service requirements.
• Current registration as an Independent Practice Clinical Psychologist with the HPCSA.

Position Requirements:

• Post-community service experience compulsory.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults will be advantageous.
• Experience in both assessment and therapeutic interventions is beneficial.

Position Responsibilities:

Durbanville Practice:

• Join a dedicated multidisciplinary team at our Centre for Neuropsychology and Neurodiversity.
• Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of clinical needs, including neurodevelopmental differences, neuropsychological concerns, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, anxiety, mood disorders, and related presentations.
• Work in a collaborative environment that provides comprehensive, person-centred care with a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based practice.

Stellenbosch Practice:

• Join a multidisciplinary team in a well-established private psychiatric hospital.
• Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention to children, adolescents, and adults across both inpatient and outpatient services.
• Gain exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations while working alongside experienced mental health professionals in a supportive environment.
