IT Support Engineer Full Time Job

IT Support Engineer job vacancy in Centurion.

We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Support Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for solving real-world problems in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 per month.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide onsite support for desktops & laptops (Windows 10/11)
• Maintain & troubleshoot physical servers
• Resolve network, Wi-Fi & connectivity issues
• Configure switches, firewalls & routers (basic level)
• Support VPNs & remote users
• Manage Active Directory & user accounts
• Handle printers, IP phones & mobile devices
• Ensure endpoint security (AV, EDR, patching)
• Work with international remote teams
• Document, troubleshoot & escalate when needed

What you need:

• 5–10 years IT Support experience (strong onsite exposure)
• Solid Windows environment experience
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Server troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on with Wi-Fi, switches & basic firewall config
• Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills

Bonus Skills (Advantageous):

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365
• Active Directory & Group Policy
• Virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• PowerShell scripting
• IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
