Inventory Controller Full Time Job

Inventory Controller position available in Boksburg.

Our manufacturing client in Boksburg Johannesburg is looking for a Junior Inventory Controller / Inventory Clerk will be responsible for tracking, recording, and managing stock levels within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate must have prior experience in manufacturing inventory control and working knowledge of the Evolution accounting system.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (relevant tertiary qualification advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an inventory control role within the manufacturing industry (non-negotiable)
• Experience working on the Evolution accounting system (non-negotiable)
• Basic understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, count, and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and invoices.
• Maintain accurate stock records on Evolution
• Record inventory movements accurately in the inventory system
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts
• Ensure correct storage, labelling, and organisation of inventory
• Work closely with procurement, warehouse and operations teams.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies/variances
• Issue stock to departments as required and maintain records
• Generate inventory reports as required by management
