Requirements:

• Matric
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
• Self-driven with initiative, deadline driven, excellent planning & organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and conditions
• High attention to detail, enthusiastic and committed
• Experience within the Warehouse and Retail industry
• Experience working with electrical equipment and tools
• Understanding of sales performance metrics

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders received via email and telephone, while providing assistance to walk-in customers at the sales counter
• Proactively contact prospective customers and follow up on sales leads, directing opportunities to the appropriate External Sales Representatives where required
• Ensure all order information is accurate and captured correctly before processing
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within agreed timeframes
• Assist with quarterly stock-taking activities and inventory counts
• Build an understanding of customer requirements and actively promote products to both new and existing clients
• Contact customers to verify invoice details and ensure the accuracy of information provided
• Conduct weekly follow-ups on outstanding quotations to maximise sales conversion opportunities
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and feedback, providing regular updates to management
• Continuously expand product knowledge through training initiatives, product research, and ongoing learning opportunities
