Integrations and Operations Lead Full Time Job

Integrations and Operations Lead required in Cape Town.

Join a remote team (based in Cape Town) of a Top 40 UK accountancy firm, to ensure core functions viz Portfolio PMO, operational integration and BAU handover are delivered seamlessly.

Purpose:

Lead the integration portfolio and personally own operational, marketing, communications, change coordination and logistics delivery from early assessment through BAU handover.

You Need:

• Solid programme delivery, M&A integration, operational change, implementation, service transition or multi-site rollout.
• Demonstrable control of several concurrent projects with senior stakeholders and immovable dates.
• Experience of due diligence or structured operational discovery, including documenting risks, assumptions and cost implications.
• Practical knowledge of marketing operations and communications; enough to coordinate brand, client communications, web, data and launch activity with UK specialists.
• Strong facilitation, dependency management, executive reporting and process-design skills

To Do:

• Build and maintain the master integration portfolio, stage gates, milestones, dependencies, resources, budgets, risks and executive reporting.
• Run deal mobilisation, weekly workstream meetings, cutover command meetings, hypercare reviews and formal handover sessions.
• Perform operational diligence: locations, leases and facilities dependencies; suppliers; insurance; records; workflow; client administration; business continuity; governance; operational policies and local practices.
• Own the integration complexity assessment and consolidate functional findings into a single recommendation for the COO.
• Coordinate marketing and change delivery: brand transition, websites and listings, client/staff communications, signage, collateral, events, contact/data transfers, campaign pauses and launch logistics.
• Plan Day 1 readiness, office logistics, travel, equipment dependencies, welcome/onboarding arrangements and local implementation support.
• Define BAU acceptance criteria, obtain sign-off and maintain the integration playbook, templates and lessons learned.

This is a senior implementation role, with direct access to a UK COO, meaningful ownership and exposure to a fast acquisition programme. Work combines diligence, hands-on delivery, disciplined documentation and senior stakeholder management. Value is speed, consistency, evidence and delivery control
