Front End Engineer – Remote (South Africa)
Are you a Mid Front End Engineer with 3+ years professional experience of which 1+ years with VueJS or other frontend JavaScript frameworks and 2+ years JavaScript experience? A solid sense of aesthetics, design, ownership and pride in your own performance is essential, together with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role is 100% remote, working for an international company, but you must be based in SA.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test and perform code review for various features and components of the Affluent UI
- Assist in rebuilding our frontend from scratch in Vue
- Work closely with product managers and other developers and QA to deliver effective solutions
- Review error messages and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Work in a distributed and agile environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional development experience
- 2+ years’ experience with JavaScript
- 1+ years’ experience with Vue.js or other frontend JS based language
- A sense for aesthetics and design
- Sense of ownership and pride in own performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Team player
