Financial Manager (CA) SA position available in Johannesburg.

A leading organisation is looking for a young, hands-on Operational Financial Manager (CA(SA) to take ownership of financial performance, reporting, controls and commercial support across the business.

The ideal candidate is a commercially astute CA(SA) who can go beyond the numbers, partner with operations and use financial insight to drive better business performance.

The position will be based in Sandton.

Salary: R80,000 – R100,000 per month.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly management reporting, financial analysis and variance reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Partner with operational leadership to improve profitability, cost control and working capital
• Oversee the integrity of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and audit readiness
• Identify and implement process, reporting and system improvements
• Provide financial input into pricing, tenders, contracts and commercial decisions
• Lead, develop and support the finance team

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification – essential
• 2 – 5 years post article experience
• Strong operational finance and management accounting experience
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability
• Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills
• Experience with financial controls, reporting and process improvement
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
