Director of Project Management Full Time Job

Director of Project Management – South Africa (Remote).

A fast-growing organisation operating within the legal funding and medical funding sector is looking for an experienced Director of Project Management to provide strategic leadership across project management functions and operational initiatives.

This remote role is responsible for driving cross-functional execution, managing key projects, overseeing SEO activities, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring business priorities are translated into actionable plans that support organisational growth and efficiency.

Remote (Candidates to be based in South Africa).

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work full-time from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 Pacific Standard Time.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role with direct people management responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not essential
• PMP Certification advantageous
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Dedicated and quiet home-based workspace
• Reliable and consistent internet connection
• Own computer with camera
• Willingness to install company monitoring software on personal computer
• Bank account or alternative payment method capable of receiving wire transfers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all project management functions
• Ensure project priorities align with overall business objectives
• Lead and manage a team including Project Managers, SEO Specialists, and an Executive Assistant
• Drive accountability and ensure consistent project delivery
• Plan, prioritise, and coordinate projects and tasks across the organisation
• Ensure key initiatives are executed efficiently and organisational goals are achieved
• Manage a wide range of projects and operational responsibilities across the business
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives, operational priorities, hiring activities, process improvements, and high-priority ad hoc projects
• Oversee all SEO activities relating to the company website
• Ensure SEO efforts are effectively prioritised, executed, and aligned with business goals
• Work closely with executive leadership to convert strategic priorities into actionable plans
• Ensure follow-through on key initiatives and deliverables
• Partner with the Executive Assistant on business-related and occasional personal tasks
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to stakeholders
• Ensure transparency and clear communication across the organisation
• Implement and enforce project management best practices, tools, and standards
• Monitor project progress, performance, and key deliverables
• Identify project risks proactively and implement corrective actions where required
• Oversee quality assurance processes across projects and initiatives
• Continuously improve workflows and operational processes
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards while improving overall team efficiency
