Digitalization & Marketing Analyst / Coordinator – Durbanville.

Portland Holdings is a group of construction materials businesses – quarry, aggregates, ready-mix and hollowcore – with decades of hands-on operational know-how behind it. We’re looking for a marketing-minded coordinator to help us tell and sell our story, while also helping us to move away from paper-based ways of working.

If you love brand and content but also get a kick out of spotting a clunky process and helping fix it, this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Keep the Portland brand consistent and looking sharp across social media, the website, signage and internal communications.
• Help plan and run marketing campaigns, working alongside external agencies and suppliers.
• Support the Sales team with the materials they need to win business.
• Get involved in digitalisation projects – helping identify paper-based processes that could work better, documenting how things are done, process mapping, implementing, and supporting colleagues through change management. Oversee new software, automation tools, or data systems from start to finish.
• Help prepare training materials and gather feedback as new systems and tools are rolled out.
• Bring fresh ideas – we want someone who’s always asking “could this work better?”

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A marketing graduate or junior-to-mid level marketer, 1–3 years into your career, ready for more ownership.
• Someone with a genuine eye for the brand and good, clean communication.
• A keen interest in process, systems and continuous improvement – no formal experience needed, just curiosity.
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable communication with people well outside the marketing department.
• Someone who wants to grow their marketing career inside a real, operational business – not just an agency desk.
