Diesel Parts Sales Consultant Full Time Job

Diesel Parts Sales Consultant required in Cape Town.

We are looking for a Diesel Parts Sales Consultant with at least 5 years’ experience in parts sales, preferably within in the boating, marine or heavy equipment industry and a strong understanding of diesel engine functions and marine systems.

Required to facilitate the sales of genuine Volvo Penta parts and accessories for this import and distribution company based in Paarden Eiland.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 5-10 years’ experience in Parts Sales, preferable in the boating, marine or heavy equipment industry required
• Strong technical understanding of diesel engine functions and marine systems required
• Experience in Volvo Penta Systems or similar electronic parts catalogues highly beneficial
• Valid driver’s licence required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the sales of genuine Volvo Penta parts and accessories
• Provide service and advice to boat owners, commercial operators, dealers and internal service technicians
• Maximise parts sales
• Order processing
• Technical Parts Identification
• Inventory and Stock management
• Quote preparation
• Upselling and promotions
• Technical support
