Debtors Controller – Pretoria

A Debtors Controller / Finance Support position is available in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

Salary: Up to R15 000 depending on experience

Working Hours: Mondays to Friday 07h30am – 17h00pm, and when required an ad hoc Saturday

A well-established and reputable company in the wholesale / retail packaging industry is seeking to appoint a Debtors Controller/Finance Support at their Branch located in Rietfontein, to start immediately, or as soon as possible.

Seeking a candidate that has experience and a solid understanding in Debtors

Requirements – Debtors Controller / Finance Support:

• Matric with Accounting Background
• Three to five years recent bookkeeping / accounting experience, with solid understanding of Debtors
• Advanced experience in medium to large size debtors’ book
• Computer literacy in MS Office; especially Excel (not negotiable)
• Pastel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Responsible, reliable and punctual.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Management of Accounts Receivable module (total responsibility for Debtors’ book)
• General bookkeeping duties, in addition to Accounts Receivable, e.g. Cash book
• Overseeing invoicing and approval of credit limits on debtors’ accounts
• Debt collection of all debtors’ accounts – individual customers and group clients
• Reconciliations
• Reporting on debtors age analysis
• General administrative work / other duties required by management
