Data Engineer Contract Job

Data Engineer position available in Cape Town.

We are looking for a well-rounded Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience across SQL, ETL development and Data Warehousing, ideally within the Microsoft technology stack.

Key requirements:

• 3–6 years’ Data Engineering experience
• Strong SQL / T-SQL
• Solid Data Warehousing experience
• Strong ETL / SSIS development
• SQL Server
• Data Modelling / Dimensional Modelling
• Azure Data Factory / Azure Data Platform exposure highly advantageous
• Experience working across the end-to-end data lifecycle

We’re looking for someone who can work across the data journey from source systems → ETL → data warehouse → downstream BI/analytics, rather than someone focused purely on one aspect of data engineering.
