Corporate Finance Specialist – Johannesburg
A Corporate Finance Specialist job vacancy is currently available in Rosebank, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
2 Opportunities with a top mining group in either a Head Office or group company corporate finance role.
Working as part of top performing teams the work will be varied and cover M&A and transactions, investement assurance – working with subject matter experts across the business to evaluate the business and financial case for projects; capital planning and allocation to the various businesses and a range of other financial projects that requires the work of such a ‘specialist task force’.
The role will also offer exposure and interaction at senior and executive level with international leadership, requiring you to not just have the technical and financial modelling skills, but also the social skills to effectively manage relations at the highest level.
A commercial mindset and keen interest in having broad exposure across the business is essential.

Their flexible working policy allows for working from the office 2-3 days per weekand wfh the other days.
The Corporate Finance Specialist would need:
- A finance degree + CFA/CIMA/CA(SA) or similar with a strong academic track record (distinctions)
- 5-8 years working experience – in the corporate finance team of a big 4 audit firm, major banks or investment houses, major corporates
- Proven skills in financial modelling
- The role is reserved for South African nationals
- Communication will be with shortlisted candidates only
