Construction Site Logistics Scheduler – Cape Town.

Our client in the southern suburbs requires you to have your own transport and bilingual communications skills in English and afrikaans.

The ideal applicant needs to be a proactive and highly organised Scheduler for construction & logistics coordination of materials, tools, deliveries, and operational activities across our clients construction sites and warehouse.

Requirements:

• Matric with administration, planning, logistics and organisational skills.
• A relevant qualification highly advantageous
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Own transport
• Experience in logistics, warehouse management, procurement, or construction operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong administrative and reporting skills.
• A hands-on approach with a commitment to operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating weekly delivery schedules for sites, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are procured and delivered on time.
• Managing warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory records.
• Coordinating drivers, deliveries, collections, and vehicle schedules.
• Supporting Project Managers, Foremen, Storemen, and operational teams.
• Conducting site visits to inspect tools, equipment, and stock.
• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for cost-effective purchasing.
• Maintaining accurate operational, procurement, and inventory records.
• Promoting Health & Safety compliance across all operations.
• Responding quickly to urgent site requirements and operational challenges.
