Collections Analyst – Durban

A Collections Analyst position is available in Pinetown, Durban, Kwazulu natal, south Africa.

The Collections Analyst will be responsible with assisting in the design, development, and improvement of new or existing MIS systems.

Assist in analyzing, collecting and processing data/information in order to generate reports on the status and perspective of the department and its business environment.

Previous experience with a financial services/collections environment

Educational requirements:

• Grade 12
• Data Analytics and Data modelling
• Experience within Collections is essential
• Programming skills
• Knowledge of information systems
• Business process improvement
• Advanced excel and database management
• Experience with data analysis and business automation tools
• Technical writing skills

Responsibilities:

• Take information, visualize it and systematically evaluate in order to generate business relevant knowledge
• Responsible for the technical aspects of data evaluation
• Define requirements for MIS solutions
• Design / develop applications if necessary
• Ensure software solutions used assist to deliver desired insights
• Design, develop and manage MIS infrastructure
• Analyze large scale information
• Identify risks and opportunities
