Catalogue Developer – Johannesburg

A Catalogue Developer position is available in Midrand, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Our client is looking for an experienced Catalogue Developer, that has working knowledge on HTML, CSS and CMS.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with industry data standards such as ACES, PIES, VCdb, PAdb, QAdb and more.
The Catalog Developer works in PartCat,
The company’s SQL catalog data base, supporting operations, data upload, data download, quality assurance and product manager support.
The Catalog Developer supports development and processing of the company’s catalog output including deliverable files, net change files, and customer specific data requirements.
The Catalog Developer supports data liaison activities with key customers and receivers.
The Catalog Developer provides support across the spectrum of activities the Content Development team conducts.
Experience building catalogue items
Experience in building business services aligned to an ITSM capability
Experience with managing catalogue user criteria
Experience managing multiple catalogues
Experience with Javascript
Familiar with Web Services and data integration
Knowledge of agile development

Experience & Qualification:

Skills and Experience:

Must be from the OEM sector
Initiate, manage and develop the service catalogue from beginning to end by using best practice concepts aligned to processes and policies.
The requirement is to bring your expertise and eliminate any legacy thinking around a typical business and technical services implementation
Development, testing and deployment, configuration of service catalogue that can be used in our instance of ServiceNow and integrated into ServiceNow
Design and documentation of solutions to meet business requirements
Administration and request fulfilment
Research and recommendation of solutions based on business requirements
