Business Enablement (Compliance Monitoring) – Johannesburg.

Junior role with development potential: The goal will be to obtain your  Compliance Officer license – a highly prestigious designation in the compliance community.

This role is one of Monitoring focus, not regulatory: The role is 80-90% monitoring advice. They already have someone fulfilling the regulatory function.

Legal knowledge helpful but not mandatory: An LLB is not required. However, candidates must hold a valid qualification/degree. RE5 is a nice-to-have.

FAIS monitoring is critical: Candidates must demonstrate a deep and practical understanding of the FAIS Act as it regulates advice. Knowledge of POPIA, FICA, etc. is less important for this role.

Salary: R27 000 per month.

Ideal candidate background:

• 1-3 years of compliance monitoring experience.
• Exposure to FAIS monitoring, mandate validation, variance reports, and advice oversight.
• Candidates from internal auditing or compliance consulting environments (e.g., firms that support financial services providers) are particularly well-suited and have a strong advantage.
