Bookkeeper Full Time Job

Bookkeeper position available in Cape Town.

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in paying a pivotable role as being part of finance, doing financial transactions, invoicing, assisting with debtors and creditors, recons and so on supporting the financial manager.

Location: De Waterkant Cape Town.

Salary: R35 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements 

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 Year’s experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, or similar).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounting / Bookkeeping duties assisting the Financial Manager
• Financial Record-Keeping Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
• Invoicing and Quotes Excel and Xero
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are properly documented.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balance and assist in following up on outstanding client payments.
• Bank Reconciliations Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Expense Tracking Monitor and categorize expenses to ensure proper budget allocation.
