B2C Business Developer Full Time Jobs

B2C Business Developer – Remote in South Africa.

An established and growing EdTech business providing accredited online schooling to local and international learners is seeking a results-driven B2C Business Developer.

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the successful candidate will engage with inbound leads, understand prospective families’ educational needs and manage the full sales process through to enrolment.

The role includes generating new opportunities, conducting product demonstrations and webinars, maintaining accurate CRM records and achieving revenue and international sales targets. Flexibility to engage with customers across different time zones will be required.

Fully Remote (Suitable for South African based Candidates only).

Salary: R25 000 to R32 000 per month + Commission.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum of two years’ sales experience
• Proven experience in new business development
• At least one year’s experience working with CRM databases
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement to closing
• Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and sound business acumen
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Ability to work effectively within a larger sales team
• Willingness and flexibility to communicate with customers across different international time zones
• Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous
• Previous experience within education, EdTech or online learning would be advantageous
• Experience selling to customers in international markets would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the organisation’s products, services and B2C target markets
• Contact and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and other initiatives
• Understand prospective customers’ educational needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Communicate the value and benefits of the organisation’s products clearly and persuasively
• Plan, coordinate and run webinars and online product demonstrations to showcase the platform, explain its benefits
• Manage the complete B2C sales process from initial contact through to closing
• Generate additional B2C leads and identify new sales opportunities where possible
• Conduct online product demonstrations, consultations and webinars for prospective customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Consistently follow up with leads to support conversion and enrolment
• Record and maintain all leads, customer interactions, activities and opportunities accurately on Salesforce
• Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate updates on progress and expected conversions
• Work collaboratively with the broader sales and marketing teams
• Achieve agreed revenue, customer acquisition, international sales and user growth targets
• Monitor individual performance against key sales metrics and targets
• Engage with prospective customers across local and international markets
• Remain flexible regarding working hours when communicating with customers in different time zones
• Provide a professional, responsive and customer-focused experience throughout the sales process
