AWS Marketing Specialist – Cape Town

A position is available for an AWS Marketing Specialist in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Marketing Specialist with AWS experience required by an IT Managed Services company based in Cape Town to work 100% remote in Cape Town.
The AWS Marketing Specialist needs 2-3 Years’ experience in a Marketing role (digital or traditional) with knowledge of AWS with solid knowledge of website analytics and SEO tools and experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns are required.
A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills will secure. You must be proficient in online marketing and social media strategy.

AWS Marketing Specialist - Cape Town

Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs in alignment with overall business objectives and strategy
  • Liaising with management and sales teams to deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Assisting at marketing and industry events (Some travel will be expected)
  • Planning and overseeing the organisation’s advertising and promotion activities including print and electronic campaigns specific to AWS.
  • Assisting and guiding the marketing with all internal and external marketing activities
  • Build strategic relationships with key partners like AWS
  • Leverage partnerships to deliver campaigns that drive innovation and promotion
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Develop marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
  • Creation of all internal and external presentations
Requirements
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Marketing role (digital or traditional)
  • 2 years’ experience in AWS Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics and SEO tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
