Area Manager – Durban
A Job vacancy is available for an Area Manager in Westville Area, Durban, Kwazulu Natal.
Salary: R32 000 – R35 000 ctc per month
We are looking for an Area Manager for a National Company in KZN.
Purpose of an Area Manager:
Ensure the profitability of all sites within the portfolio by managing risks and identifying opportunities as the key account manager, as well as instilling customer centricity through regular, meaningful interactions. Ensure compliance in terms of Health and Food Safety, operational stability, and people development.
The successful incumbent must have the following qualification, experience, and skillsets:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Safety, Business Management.
- At least 5 years’ previous work experience in key account management.
- Strong Food Safety Auditing experience
- Customer centric to drive operational excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and must have the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and to be pro-active in identifying potential problems.
- Ability to project manage start-up sites effectively.
- Ability to bring teams together and motivate staff.
- Must have a strong preference to work within the Company’s culture and values; Respect, Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Open Communication, and Service Excellence.
- High work standards, excellent communication skills, energetic and driven.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Must be willing and able to work regular nightshifts.
