Inter-Agri Oils

Inter-Agri Oils (Pty) Ltd. is a proudly family owned and run South African enterprise specializing in the production, marketing and export of premium essential oils.

Inter-Agri Oils is located in the Oribi Flats region, in a farming community 40km inland of Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal.

The family have been farming in the area for nearly 50years, and have been farming essential oils for 15years.

Inter-Agri Oils was established in 2021 as the marketing and exporting arm of the farming entities.

Inter-Agri Oils farms approximately 150 hectares of essential oils including tea tree and rosemary and operates their own on-farm distillation facility. The distillery is constructed from food-grade stainless steel and all essential oils are distilled using the steam distillation process.  The oil that is produced is subjected to testing and analyses by an independent accredited laboratory, to ensure 100% compliance with international quality standards.

Inter-Agri Oils is actively involved in a number of social community projects which have a positive impact on both it’s employees, their families and some of the most vulnerable members of the Mahlabathini community. Inter-Agri Oils has obtained Ecocert SA, and Fair for Life certification in 2022, and this demonstrates their commitment to their workers and the local community.
