Ad Hoc Musicians

Ad Hoc Musicians is a small recruitment agency, specializing in the creation of opportunities for musicians who are only able to perform on an ad hoc basis.  Musicians who are already employed full time, but wish to remain active in the musical field and also earn an extra income are welcome to join.

Ad hoc musicians, also known as freelance or session musicians, are versatile and adaptable individuals who thrive in various musical settings. Unlike members of established bands or orchestras, ad hoc musicians are hired on a per-project basis, lending their talents to recordings, live performances, studio sessions, and events.
