Dealer Principal (Automotive) Full Time Job

Dealer Principal (Automotive) – Bela-Bela / Modimolle.

An established automotive dealership is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Dealer Principal to lead all aspects of the dealership’s operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, growing vehicle sales, overseeing aftersales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while leading and developing a high-performing team.

Salary: R50,000 – R65,000 per month depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive overall dealership profitability and achievement of business objectives.
• Lead and manage new vehicle sales, used vehicle sales, parts, and service departments.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
• Monitor departmental performance and ensure targets are achieved across all divisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop dealership staff to maximise performance and productivity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a dealership management or Dealer Principal role.
• Proven track record within the automotive retail industry.
• Strong understanding of vehicle sales, aftersales operations, and dealership profitability.
• Demonstrated experience in target management, business development, and customer retention.
• Established customer and industry network will be advantageous.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.

Remuneration Package:

• Salary: R50,000 – R65,000 pm depending on experience
