Media & Communications Coordinator Full Time Job

Media & Communications Coordinator required in Paarl.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of communication and public relations initiatives
• Create engaging written, visual, and multimedia content for digital, social media, media, and internal communication channels
• Draft media releases, media pitches, communication materials, and brand-related content
• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, content creators, and industry stakeholders
• Coordinate media and influencer visits, including programme planning, logistics, hospitality arrangements, and on-site hosting
• Support influencer outreach, relationship management, and campaign coordination
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility and engagement
• Compile communication and media performance reports
• Analyse campaign metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
• Coordinate communication-related events, launches, activations, and media engagements
• Provide administrative and project support for communication initiatives
• Utilise AI-powered tools to enhance content development, research, reporting, and workflow efficiency
• Stay informed on communication trends, social media developments, and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Relevant qualification in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent organisational, planning, and administrative abilities
• High level of attention to detail and quality standards
• Proficiency in digital media and social media platforms
• Comfortable using AI tools to support communication and content creation processes
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required for events and media engagements
