Key Responsibilities
1. Act as central point of communication between business, web development team and other stakeholders.
2. Responsibility for day-to-day web tasks across the delivery chain including:
- Gather, interpret and document business requirements.
- Develop specifications.
- Develop high-level visual design and information architecture.
- Develop content and/or functionality.
- Perform necessary quality assurance.
- Implement/publish updates and changes.
- QA and testing based on business owner brief.
- Monitoring site usage and using web- analytics to improve usability and usage.
- Liaise with other Web Producers to ensure alignment with other web environments and adherence to standards and guidelines.
3. Interpret requests from business content owners and evaluate how web site objectives can be supported by relevant content and functionality.
4. Interact with web delivery team to ensure proper execution of requests.
5. Monitoring and measurement of website.
6. Monitor implementation of standards and guidelines (CI, usability and information
architecture) in other applications launched from portal (where applicable).
7. Allocation of typical tasks, e.g. dealing with day- to-day business requests, working with web team to interpret and implement business requests, working with business owners to
prioritise and plan for capacity, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Relevant Degree or Diploma would be an advantage.
Experience:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a web based environment within the broader Financial Services industry.
- At least 2 years’ business analysis experience.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the following:
- User-centred design
- Information architecture and usability
- Web usability and usability trends
- Web application architecture
- Advanced web skills and working knowledge of the following:
- HTML & CSS
- Interpret, implement and refine web statistics
- Web-related tools
