JOB PURPOSE
· To maintain existing software applications.
· To develop new software applications based on detailed business specifications.
· To perform data mining on existing databases.
· Problem solving and analytical thinking is required.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (DAILY)
1. To maintain/troubleshoot production software applications developed for aspects of the business line and business support.
2. To develop new software applications based on detailed business specifications.
3. To mine data from existing database as and when required.
4. Present solutions to business problems
SKILLS REQUIREMENT
1. Microsoft Visual Basic 6
2. ASP Development on Microsoft IIS
3. HTML Development on Microsoft IIS
4. Oracle SQL
5. Microsoft SQL
6. Understanding of Com+ technology within Microsoft Visual Basic 6
7. Problem solving
A GRADUATE WITH AT LEAST 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE FROM A SKILLS PERSPECTIVE WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE.
ABILITY TO PROBLEM SOLVE (THINK OUT OF THE BOX) IS A KEY ATTRIBUTE FOR THE CORRECT CANDIDATE.
