Purpose of the role
The telesales representative will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets through inbound and outbound telephonic selling. The successful incumbent will be required to actively sell IT hardware and related consumables within a pressurised environment. All tools, product training and systems will be provided by us in order to meet your goals
Principle duties and responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls and sell IT products
- Conduct outbound calls and sell IT products
- Will have to be a proven closer with an ability to convince clients to buy our products and services
- Ability to accurately assess customer needs and potential, identify and deal with objections that may arise.
- Be comfortable with the sales process and show the ability to meet targets
- Ability to quote and sell high volumes of product whilst ensuring calls are of a high quality
- Ability to handle complaints as well as conflict telephonically
- Attention to detail
- Maintain and develop professional selling skills
- Uphold the principles of the business. Highest level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Min Grade 12 / Matric
- Bachelors degree advantageous
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook skills
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in outbound telesales environment
- Basic knowledge of IT products
